The webinar taught the basics, challenges and opportunities of water pumping with solar energy. Speakers with many years of professional experience guided through the theory and practical examples.

Speakers were:

• Christof Biba; professor at the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) in Rapperswil. He lectures within the study program “Renewable energies and environmental engineering” and is associated to the Institute for Solar Technology SPF as head of the PV group. Christof originally completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter, later graduated in physics and worked successfully in the solar technology industry for more than 20 years.

And

• Karin Jeanneret Vezzini is CEO and Board of Directors at ennos AG, is Board Of Directors at Seelamdheim AG and runs the law firm Jeanneret. Karin co-founded ennos AG in 2006, which today successfully sells solar pumps worldwide. Karin holds a Master in Business Law and has worked for a major bank during her career.

With a total of 78 participants and a good follow-up discussion the webinar was a great success.
